Who We Are

IntroHint (“we”, “us”, or “the App”) is a mobile-first AI agent for individuals at business events, designed to provide fast, public information about people and companies you meet.

What Data We Collect

We collect only what is needed for account management, payments, and app function.

We collect:

  • Email address (required for registration and login; stored by Glide)
  • Country (determined from payment card, IP address via Stripe, or manual selection at checkout)
  • Payment information (entered by you and processed directly by Stripe)
  • Enrichment queries (names/company names you search)

We do NOT collect or store:

  • Your real name, age, gender, or physical address
  • Your user profile pictures or photos
  • Sensitive personal data (race, health, beliefs, etc.)
  • VAT IDs or business/company information
  • Browser, device, or session data

How We Use and Store Your Data

  • To create/manage your account (email)
  • To process payments and calculate tax (Stripe uses your email, card details, IP address, and billing country)
  • To generate enrichment results from public sources (inputted names/companies only; not stored after session)
  • To comply with legal obligations (tax records, security, support)

Data Processors and Storage

Glide Apps

  • Handles authentication, backend storage, and account management.
  • Stores: Your email address, app usage, and credits.
  • Does NOT store: Your IP address, device info, country, card data, or browser details.

Stripe

  • Handles all payment processing.
  • Stores: Your email address, payment card details, billing country, transaction history, and your IP address for fraud prevention and legal compliance.
  • Card details and IP address are never stored by us.

We do not send these providers additional details, and they have no access to your enrichment queries or results.

What Data Is Shown in the App

  • All enrichment results are generated from public sources (e.g., LinkedIn, company websites).
  • We do not show or store user age, your profile photo, or sensitive personal details.
  • Enrichment results are processed in-session and are not permanently stored by us.

Communication with Users

  • We may send transactional emails to your registered email address, including registration confirmations, login codes (PINs) for authentication, credit usage alerts, receipts, and other important system notifications. These messages are required for operating your account and using the IntroHint service.
  • We do not send marketing or promotional emails unless you explicitly opt in.

Credit Expiry and Data Retention

  • Credits purchased expire after 1 month.
  • Your account data (email, credit use) is stored while your account is active.
  • Payment and transaction records are retained by Stripe to comply with law.
  • No enrichment queries or results are kept after your session ends.

Cookies and Tracking

  • Only essential cookies are used by Glide for authentication and app navigation.
  • Stripe and Glide may set essential cookies for secure login and payment.
  • No third-party analytics, tracking, or advertising cookies are set by us.

International Data Transfers

Data may be stored or processed outside the EU, but only with trusted providers (Glide, Stripe) who comply with GDPR.

Your Rights

You may:

  • Request access, correction, or deletion of your data
  • Request restriction of processing or object to certain processing
  • Request a copy of your data in portable format

IntroHint is not for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect any data from minors.
